NJ Tranisitions after High School: FAQ
Stage in Life: You or your family member have been attending High School and will now be transitioning into either the independant living and/or the working world. Government regulations require that at the age of 21 students no longer attend High School, so this is a mandatory transition.
When should I start planning and applying for services?
Most people wait until they are at the end of their last year in High School and suddenly realize that they should have been planning their transition in advance.
What types of services are available in NJ?
Does my family member have to have a specific diagnosis to be eligible for services or assistance?
